Raju Khadka is the co-founder and now an executive consultant of Nepal River Runner, a premier rafting company in Nepal that has been providing world-class rafting experiences since 2008. With over a decade of experience in the tourism industry, Raju has developed a commanding presence and a deep understanding of the rafting business. He has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and reputation as a leading adventure provider in Nepal.
As a finance student, Raju brings a unique blend of financial acumen and practical experience to his advisory role. Since Nepal River Runner’s inception in 2011, he has been instrumental in the company’s financial strategies and strategic planning. His contributions include managing staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, and handling website management along with digital and social media marketing.
Raju previously served as the Secretary of NARA (Nepal Rafting Agencies Association), where he actively contributed to the promotion and development of the rafting industry in Nepal. His tenure at NARA has now concluded, but his influence and advocacy continue to benefit the industry.
Known for his amiable and attentive personality, Raju is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike. His engaging leadership style and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation for going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and company success.
In addition to his consultancy role, Raju remains involved in business development, agent partnerships, and inter-company deals to expand Nepal River Runner’s reach and influence. He continues to immerse himself in rafting cultures worldwide, recently engaging in Croatia’s rafting excursions to further hone his skills in rafting and kayaking.
