Godavari is the greenest and most pristine part of Kathmandu Valley, that lies at its south-eastern edge. It is tucked at the foot of Phulchoki Hill (2,791), which is also the highest hill in the Kathmandu valley rim. Phulchoki Hill is renowned for its beautiful hiking trails, that pass through wilderness. Phulchoki forest is full of different species of birds and during the months of April, March and October, you might get views of these birds migrating. Phulchoki, as a hiking destination, is popular amongst both internal and external tourists. Many Nepalese throng to Phulchoki Hill to experience snowfall in winter months.
