Bikram Keshari Sunuwar, originally from Swalpathan, Sindhuli, is a licensed trekking and rafting guide with a strong passion for adventure and outdoor leadership. He began his career in 2015 as a porter and assistant guide, gradually gaining extensive experience across Nepal’s mountain and river regions.
Bikram completed his Rafting Guide Training from NATHM in 2011 and earned his Trekking Guide License with an ‘A’ Grade from the Nepal Mountain Academy in 2024. He has guided rafting expeditions on all major white-water rivers of Nepal, including Sunkoshi, Karnali, and Tamur, as well as popular day-trip rivers such as Bhotekoshi, Balephi, and Trishuli. Internationally, he has experience in Turkey, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, guiding both rafting and kayaking trips.
His trekking experience covers Nepal’s most renowned routes, including Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Manaslu Circuit, and Upper Mustang. Currently, Bikram serves as an instructor for NRR’s kayak clinics, drawing on his extensive white-water kayaking experience.
Recognized for his calm demeanor, technical competence, and deep respect for nature and local culture, Bikram is a valued member of the Nepal River Runner (NRR) team, committed to delivering safe, responsible, and memorable adventure experiences.
