His passion for adventure and love for the great outdoors led him to obtain his trekking guide license in 1999, and since then, he has successfully led over ten trekking trips per year in popular trekking destinations in Nepal.
In 2011, Ram co-founded Nepal River Runner, a company that specializes in offering white-water rafting experiences to adventure seekers. He currently serves as the trip planner and logistic manager at Nepal River Runner, where his extensive knowledge of rafting and trekking destinations throughout Nepal has made him a valuable asset to the company. He is responsible for designing and planning trips, as well as overseeing the logistics of each trip.
Ram’s position as a senior trekking sardar in sister company, Himalayan Challenge Treks, has further solidified his standing as a respected and trusted member of the trekking fraternity.
